Amira Eisa, LMP MA60160258
Education: Amira graduated from Everest College in 2010 with a license in Massage Therapy and Spa Specialist. She is also a graduate of the Gary Manuel Institute for Esthetics.
Specialties: Amira enjoys providing many forms of massage from Swedish to deep tissue, pregnancy, and hot stone.
Lindsay Sundin, LMP MA000239926
Education: Lindsay graduated from Ashmnead College in 2007. She is trained in the beautiful art of Lomi Lomi and has also studied aspects of Eastern Medicine.
Specialties: Lindsay works the fine line between treatment and relaxation with a full range of massage techniques, from delicate to deep tissue. Her interests are focused on aromatherapy and making you feel better!

Education: Amira graduated from the Gary Manuel Aveda institute in the spring of 2011.
Specialties: Amira offers facials customized to every individuals needs and believes everyone should leave feeling a sense of well being and relaxation. She provides facial and body waxing as well as lash/brow tinting, eyelash extensions and body treatments. Amira also does makeup application and lessons and is trained in Aveda makeup.
Michelle Daffon
Education: Graduated as a licensed esthetician from Greenwood Academy in 2003. Michelle has over 13 years experience in a salon and spa setting.
Specialties: Michelle is native to West Seattle with 7 years of expert esthetic experience. She provides everything from brows to brazilians and everything in between, eye lash perming, brow and lash tinting, body treatments. She also loves sharing knowledge and expertise to help clients conquer any skincare challenges they may be experiencing with a wonderful customized facial. Michelle is here to meet all your skincare needs.
We only do natural nails, and use only the highest quality polish. We have very strict standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
Jan Bailey
25+ years experience in salon and spa settings, Jan has been known for her fabulous manicures and pedicures, and for her wonderful generous manner with all her clients.
Sarah Escoto
Experience: Sarah has been providing wonderful nail service for the past 8 months.
Specialties: She thoroughly enjoys working with Jan in the nail room. She is attentive, strives to make sure her clients are comfortable and that they receive personal attention.
Beth Denton, Manager
Education: Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Science, 2001.
Specialties: An avid environmentalist, a true Aveda product specialist. She was a manager of an advanced training salon for 5 years prior to joining the Shanti team.
Brooke Weatherhead, Marketing and Social Media Coordinator
Education: Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2002 from M.S.U.
Experience: Brooke has worked in the customer service industry throughout most of her professional career. Shanti Salon and Day Spa allows her to combine her passion of all things beauty with her love of event planning and marketing.
Stefanie Parker, Front Desk Coordinator
Education: Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2007, majoring in Psychology.
Experience: Stephanie has over five years experience in customer service. In her spare time, she loves being outdoors; whether it’s hiking, camping, gardening, or running. Indoors she enjoys reading, cooking, spinning and art.
Jessie Lee, Front Desk Coordinator
Jessie comes to us from Hawaii and has the laid-back, cool attitude that matches the islands. Her love of natural but modern beauty makes her a perfect fit in an Aveda concept salon like Shanti. Her relaxed demeanor and sweet dispostion make her a big part of Shanti’s continued success.
Heidi and Tim Reynolds
Heidi, Tim and their family purchased Shanti Salon and Spa in May of 2010. Living in West Seattle they have made a sincere effort to create a sanctuary conducive to relaxation and pampering. Come in, drink a cup of Aveda tea, experience the changes, and allow us to serve you!
Emily Austin
Experience: While new to Seattle, Emily is no stranger to hair. Emily has nearly 3 decades of experience as a hair stylist and educator. She has owned her own salon, been a national color educator for Paul Mitchell Systems and has extensive experience with Aveda products at a salon she was at before moving to Seattle from Northeast Ohio. No matter what you need done, you can rest assured that Emily has done it before and does it well.
Specialties: Emily loves working with color. She also excels at precision cutting, texturizing, and men’s styling. Emily especially enjoys working with clients who may be seeing an increase in gray and want to find a way to stay both gray-free and at the height of today’s styles.
Sarah Escoto
Education: Sarah graduated from the Gene Juarez Academy and has continued her education with Aveda Advanced Classes.
Experience: Upon completion of her apprenticeship under Vincent Nyguen, Shanti’s hot new talent has shown her dedication to and pride in her craft. Sarah is known for her advanced cutting techniques as well as her extensive hair and skin product knowledge.
Specialties:Sarah specializes in advanced foiling, razor and shear cutting techniques, texturizing, and men’s haircuts. She is also a detail-oriented nail technician, has wonderful and relaxing massage techniques, and is skilled at picking a color that suits client’s personality or occasion.
Catherine Green-Baskett
Experience:Since her graduation from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in 2008, Cat has been a licensed cosmetologist and makeup artist.
Specialties: She trained with Aveda top educators for 2 years, Known for her work in precision cutting, coloring and her work with curly hair. Catherine is also a skilled manicurist. If you are looking for a stylist or makeup artist who promotes growth, inspires imagination and works diligently without being obtrusive; Catherine is the stylist for you.
Vincent Nguyen
Experience: Vincent is well known by locals to be an upbeat, charming master stylist with a true passion for hair and the beauty industry. He has over 17 years of experience and is not only a great listener but a professional with an upbeat personality and positive energy.
Specialties: Vincent is famous for amazing color and highlights including baliage color corrections and precision haircuts and styling. He has worked and trained with some of the best stylists in the industry.
Monique Peterson
Education: Gene Juarez Beauty College, Gene Juarez Apprenticeship Program 2001-2002
Experience: Monique attended beauty school at the Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty from 2001-2002 and completed further advanced training at Gene Juarez Advanced Training Salon. She is a strong believer in continuing education, and strives to refine and adapt her skills all the time.
Specialties: Monique’s goal is that each guest leaves with a well-suited, balanced style,and color which is complimentary to your skin tone, as well as your budget and lifestyle. Communication of goals and realistic expectations will be an integral part of your service, but come prepared to be spoiled!
Erica Reynolds
Experience: Erica lives in West Seattle and became a licensed cosmetologist from Seattle’s Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in 2008.
Specialties: Erica is fluent with Aveda’s product line, and has a talent for striving to provide hair-styles to suit each individual client. She specializes in dry cuts, Aveda color, and occasion hair. Whether your hair is in desperate need of rescuing, or just needs the right style for your wedding or a photo shoot, Erica has the expertise and eye to help you along. Erica is a skilled and versatile stylist who believes in the Aveda philosophy and providing excellent services.
Madison Griffith
Experience: Madison graduated from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in 2007 and she has been working in the industry for four years.
Specialties: Madison excels at precision cuts, color, foils, and all-over custom color. Her gentle spirit and creative mind make the time her clients spend with her a joy. Doing hair comes naturally to her as she “loves making people feel pretty”. Away from the salon, Madison enjoys live music, art, and meeting new people which helps inspire her work; keeping her fresh and current.
